Facility Accreditation
Accreditation by a recognized certifying
organization is one method of determining that the surgeon you're
considering recognizes the need for excellence in the delivery of health care
services. The requirements for accreditation are detailed and exacting.
Dr. McMenamin and his staff are proud of
their affiliation with the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care
(AAAHC). The ability of both their facility and practice to meet
those requirements by offering a fully accredited operating suite is a testament
to their goal of high quality patient care.

The AAAHC is a nationally-recognized,
independent, not-for-profit organization that examines non-hospital health care
institutions and awards accreditation to those who meet its high standards.
AAAHC accreditation represents a
high level of commitment and concern on the part of those who seek it. Health
professionals, governmental agencies, insurers, and the general public recognize
AAAHC accreditation as the symbol of quality in ambulatory health care.
Accreditation by AAAHC is your assurance that Dr.
McMenamin has made sure that your surgery is conducted under
conditions that are as safe as an accredited hospital.
