Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty (upper and/or lower eyelid surgery), involves the removal of excess skin, fat, or muscle around the eye to enhance the appearance.

Pockets of fat in the lower eyelids can be removed from inside the eyelid to reduce the pouches or 'bags'. Excess skin and muscle can also be removed from upper or lower lids to open the appearance of the face and eye. In addition, this procedure can reduce the 'hooding' of the upper eyes, improving the ability of the eye to receive light. This procedure returns the eyes to a more youthful, rested state.
